A fantastic and reliable source of protein, we currently serve our Beef Fillet with potato cream, confit Jerusalem artichoke, hazelnut, and shimeji mushroom. This dish is natural, earthy, and comprised of the highest standard of produce. This is available as part of our current A La Carte menu as a main course.
Our philosophy has always been to let the ingredients do the talking – great produce doesn’t need masking. Sometimes, simplicity can be the highest form of art. This is especially the case when it comes to cooking, and you have a kitchen team that knows what they are doing with what has been presented to them.
Our Menus
It’s not just Beef Fillet, it’s not just A La Carte. We have a range of dishes to suit a range of tastes, including a selection from our Menu of the Week, which (you guessed it) changes weekly. Regularly refreshing our menus allows us to stay creative and work with seasonal produce to ensure the best experience for our diners.
We also have a Tasting Menu available to our clients, but you must advise us of this choice in advance and it must be ordered by the whole table. This allows everyone involved to get the most out of their culinary experience at La Popote.

Just because we are welcoming doesn’t mean we don’t take our practice seriously. Every part of what we do has been fine-tuned by Chef Joe and Gaelle to ensure the best experience is had by all. From the time put into sourcing produce and wines, to the week-long process of creating our jus (gravy), to the delicate details attached to the layout of the restaurant on a day-to-day basis, thought and consideration have gone into every moment that you have with us.
