It’s fair to say that for those passionate about great food, there’s seldom more exciting than curating a new menu. Our recently revised and released A La Carte menu is no exception, and is one that proudly meets the seasonality of fantastic produce where possible. We have had to say goodbye to some client favourites, but look forward to helping our diners create new and exciting memories with us.
A La Carte Starters
Our A LA Carte starters include one familiar favourite amongst the La Popote regulars, that being the delectable Orkney Hand Dived Scallops. This time round the scallops are served with a parsnip puree, compressed apple and cucumber, and oyster leaf. Other options include the Pigeon Breast served with tagine puree, carrot and cumin, cumin cracker and pomegranate. We are also serving Duck with beetroot, sunflower, pumpkin seed granola, nasturtium, and whipped feta. Our vegetarian option is the Cêpe Tart, served with mushroom truffle duxelle, rocket and smoked oil. Caviar, of course, is also available.
A La Carte Mains
Our mains include the famous Westholme Ragyu Rump Picanha, complimented by smoked celeriac puree, roasted shallot, and red wine sauce. Also included is the Venison, Pork Chop, Poissons du Jour, Roasted Cod, and Sunday Roast (the latter of which is only available on Sundays, of course). We also have the wildly popular Entrecote for 2, a dish completed by potato terrine, black garlic, and jus de viande.
A La Carte Desserts
Desserts at La Popote are always exciting, our kitchen team going the extra-mile to ensure that diners get something different from our centre of casual fine dining in Cheshire. From our Roasted Black Provence Figs to our lemon Cremeux, there’s something for everyone on the dessert menu. A selection of fascinating dessert wines are also readily available!
We also gave a separate menu that is updated weekly. This ensures we are able to make use of the freshest and most immediate ingredients available to our kitchen. And naturally, as a restaurant that specialises in wines, our wine menu is extensive and has been carefully curated by the passionate owners.
